Come join us to make your own terrarium – a mini-Earth in a jar! All supplies for your terrarium will be provided, including a variety of plants, stones, and eco-friendly decorations.
You will learn about how living things interact with their environment and how ecosystems function. At the end of the class, you’ll leave with your own beautiful, self-sustaining mini-world to take home.
Class runs 90 minutes.

Needle Felted Eggs

Come join the party! Learn the basics of needle felting and welcome spring by decorating your own wool eggs!
You will get 6 blank eggs to decorate. Your instructor, Jessica, will be there to provide guidance and technical assistance for every step including the secret to getting the perfect shape on your designs. The eggs even come in their own colorful paper carton.
You will also be able to choose from an array of different essential oil scents to add to your creations. Wool is an incredible fiber and simply adding a few drops of essential oil to your diffusers provides an eco-friendly way to Freshen any space from a bathroom to an office, car, laundry hamper, or just bring a spring scent into your home.
All tools and materials will be provided including finger guards. 6 eggs and a carton are included in the class price, and additional eggs or round poms can be purchased for $2 each. Strings will be available to turn your eggs into hanging ornaments. 3 felting Needless are included to take home.
Recommended for ages 10+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 4 children under 12. Adult does not need to purchase a ticket to supervise child participants.
The Eco Cafe will be open during the event and can get 10% off at our general store the day of the workshop!

Trinket Shadow Box

Dive into the meditative world of knolling by creating a Trinket Shadow Box with Jessica of Round Two Upcycled Craft Parties!
Rather than focusing on learning a skill, you will have the opportunity to create a mindful display of color, texture & order. Calmly enjoy sifting through the piles of trinkets, oddities and discarded bits & bobs to arrange your perfect flat lay.
Your instructor, Jessica, will provide all materials including a second-hand frame, backing paper, cordless glue gun & huge array or trinkets collected from people around the entire country. Also feel free to bring your own items to either add to your own display or drop in one of the boxes for future knollers to enjoy.
Class runs 2 hours and is recommended for ages 6+ (an adult must assist children under 12 with using their glue guns).
Feel free to bring your shipping supply donations to the class!
